Social innovators and universities have untapped opportunities to use their knowledge, experience and resources to create impact in a direct and meaningful way. Since the end of 2017 The Melting Pot has been a partner in SIKE (Social Innovation Through Knowledge Exchange) a project to build and strengthen the connection between universities and practitioners to develop social projects and products across Europe.
From October until the end of the year the UK regional partners, Good Ideas parent The Melting Pot and Glasgow Caledonian University, are running a monthly series of Knowledge Exchange Connection events that will bring together academics and practitioners working in the areas of the Circular Economy, Mental Health and Economics.
The practitioners who attend will gain through this opportunity to
- discuss their work;
- find a collaborator, advocates, or research partner;
- gain input from researchers;
- create opportunities to deepen impact;
- and strengthen the credibility and their ask.
The event is free to The Melting Pot members and is open to all.
Find out more on the Circular Economy event on Oct 8th.
Details for the Mental Health (Nov 5th) and Economics (Dec 3rd) event will be available soon.
